General/Rock Guitar
This course will teach you how to play guitar through playing songs. The course will further develop your picking and strumming patterns. You will learn lead guitar parts along with rhythm. You will be taught songs by artists such as Jimmy Hendrix, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, AC/DC, Pink Floyd and more.

Flamenco Guitar
In this course you will learn the 5 right hand techniques in flamenco guitar: pulgar (along with golpe), rasugeo (rasgueado), picado, arpeggio and tremelo through different styles/palos (songs) withing flamenco guitar such as Tangos, Rumba, Solea, Malagueña, Farruca and more! We also offer level 2, 3 and 4 courses for students who want continue or join up already knowing these techniques.

Spanish Guitar Ensemble - $250.

Jazz Guitar
This course, taught by Michael Valeanu, will focus on accompaniment and initiation to basic Jazz chords through the blues. You will then learn to play chords and melody at the same time through "Take the "A" Train". You will continue to learn new chords and accompaniment with a bass line / playing chords and melody at the same time through "Autumn Leaves". To the end the course you will learn to play a Jazz song with another player through "Work Song". We also offer level 2, 3 and 4 courses for students who want continue or join up already knowing these techniques and basics. We go into the study of chord inversions, arpeggios and scales to be able to improvise lines, accompaniments and solo guitar arrangements. You will also study a Solo of great Jazz Guitarist such as Wes Montgomery, Jim Hall, Pat Martino.. etc.

Lead Guitar
This course will teach you how to solo. It will teach different ways to voice yourself by teaching you different techniques you may use within scales. Students will be given the opportunity to solo and create melodies. You will learn solos by other musicians as well to help you become comfortable with soloing and playing lead guitar.

Blues Guitar
This course teaches you 12 barre blues, turnarounds, pentatonic scales, bends and slides. You will learn how to solos and how to improvise through the pentatonic scales over different progressions and rhythms. You will learn the typical blues techniques such as slides, bends, mutes and more more. See the videos below for examples of licks, rhythms and solos that you will learn in this class.
