Flamenco Guitar Classes

Each course includes 8 weekly 1-hour sessions with up to 6 students. Class meets once a week for 1-hour at the same day and time. The price is $295. To register for a course please use links below, call 646-703-0007 or email [email protected].

​You do not have to travel with a guitar as we have guitars available for you to use in class free of charge. You will need to have a guitar at home to practice with. We sell beginner to advanced guitars and accessories. Please visit our guitar parlor to view our selection. You can also rent a guitar for $30/month for you take home.

Flamenco and Spanish Classical Guitar for Complete Beginners level 1 course will teach you the basics of flamenco and classical guitar. At the end of this class, you will know how to play 5 right hand techniques: rasgueo, picado, arpeggio, pulgar and golpe. Learn to play Spanish Classical Guitar Etudes and Vales by Tarrega and Calatyud, as well as Flamenco styles such as Rumba, Malagueña, Solea and Tangos. In 8 weeks you'll be able to play full solo guitar pieces. We offer level 2, 3, 4 and 5 as well. We continue on with more advanced pieces and techniques that include tremelo, alzapua and more.
